Obviously you can take a cab from any of the airports, but here are some alternatives from each airport.

Reagan

Take the metro (blue line) directly from the airport to the Foggy Bottom metro stop. It is less than a half mile from the hotel (.38 miles to be exact).

Dulles

BWI

I am working on the details of the itinerary for the reunion weekend. I will email the full details in the next few days. So far we are having a happy hour/informal dinner on Friday night at 5pm at Front Page (reserved table and it is within walking distance of the hotel). A DJ will start at 7 pm and we can stay if we want or go elsewhere. We are having a nice dinner in a semi private room at Fogo De Chao at 5 pm on Saturday night (not close to the hotel – but it is close to a metro stop). We have the room for two hours. I am working on reserving a table somewhere for after dinner Saturday night near the hotel (in a lounge or club) and also I am working on reservations for Brunch on Sunday morning. Please let me know if you are interested in doing the brunch on Sunday morning so I can make the appropriate reservations. We better start now, since time has a way of slipping away....

Please post to let us know if you will attend. We'd like to get a rough estimate of the number of people to reserve hotels and dining as needed. In tandem with that, we'll need to know how many are attending. We should expect the "formal" reunion to be children-free, but many of you will likely want to bring your entire family.

Start thinking of what we should plan. Do we have the classic reunion night with music, food, and dancing? Do we just reserve a restaurant? A picnic? Sodden debauchery in the Reflecting Pool?

Are there other events we should do as a group? A trip to the White House? A visit to the Udvar-Hazy? A show at the Kennedy Center?

Start vetting the ideas - we have less than a year!

Washington DC has won both location polls, and we have decided to call it. The reunion will be in DC in June of 2008. If you have any suggestions about the area, hotels, or local activities, please post them on the forum. We will start the planning shortly.
