After K-Town / Part I

Greetings my fellow K-towners!

It's quite unfortunate that I left K-town in October of 1987 and was not able to graduate with the people I'd grown so fond of and who I attended Sembach Middle with on through to the 12th grade at K-town. I was given an opportunity to stay with Ms. Loomis (my English teacher and one of our Raiderette Coaches) until graduation, but I guess I was homesick and wanted to see my family (a decision I will forever regret, because Ms. Loomis and I became really close during the Raiderette's summer camp with the National Cheerleader's Association. I lived extremely far away, so Ms. Loomis offered to have me stay with her during the camp. It was fun getting to know her under a whole other set of circumstances and the opportunity to bond with her as her friend as opposed to her student was great!). I returned to Baltimore, Maryland where I graduated from Lake/Clifton Eastern High School (can you say YUCK!!!). After graduation on June 5, 1988, I attended Gordon Phillips School of Cosmetology. Before completing the required 1500 hours I found out I was pregnant with my first child. That child is now 18 years old, and I've since had two other children who are 10 and 8. After my first child, I went back to beauty school to complete the remaining hours of my course of study. -Part II later-
